About Me

Hello! My name is Danaya L. Rankin. I was born and raised in Williams Lake and have many ties to this community, both familial and otherwise. In particular, I have deep ties to the equestrian community here, which is quite large! Growing up and currently living in the outskirts of Williams Lake, I have a deep appreciation for the country lifestyle and the nature of small-town life.

After living in Prince George for university, I moved to Smithers where I gained experience in the legal field as a conveyancer. I was encouraged by my coworkers and employers to apply for the Notary Education Program and was able to complete it over the past two years. In that time, I saw that Williams Lake had a need for a notary. This fact, along with my ties to the community, encouraged me to move back home to the Cariboo. Now that I have officially been commissioned as a Notary Public, I am proud to offer my services to the community of Williams Lake and the surrounding area!

My accreditations include a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Anthropology from the University of Northern British Columbia, a Master of Arts in Applied Legal Studies from Simon Fraser University, and I have been commissioned as a Notary Public in and for the province of British Columbia. I am here to help with all your legal needs within my scope as a notary!
